Abstract: This hallowed Tablet, revealed by the Báb during His sojourn in Shíráz (1845–1846 C.E.), enshrines the Ziyārat-i Jāmi‘ah-yi Ṣaghīrah — “The Short All-Embracing Visitation Tablet” — addressed to the illustrious Family of the Prophet Muḥammad. Recited by the early Bábís on Fridays, it opens with the immutable testimony to the oneness of God and the prophethood of Muḥammad, ascending into a resplendent litany of salutations upon the exalted lineages and hierarchies of divine power. Through its verses unfold the eternal attributes of Will, Determination, Destiny, Decree, Permission, and the Book — the very principles by which the cosmos is ordered. It evokes the Manifestation upon the Mount, the unveiling of divine realities, the bowing of sanctified hearts, the paradises of light, and the blazing of hell. At once devotional and cosmological, it reveals the Báb’s vision of creation’s architecture, summoning the seeker toward self-effacement in God and the attainment of spiritual truth. This Tablet was revealed in Arabic.
