The German Universal Gazette informs us, under the head of Constantinople, 19th ult., that Sir Stratford Canning has demanded the revision of a sentence of death pronounced at Broussa, upon the son of Armenian, who was charged with murder, but against whom there was no legal evidence. The result of this intervention is not stated. By the same article we learn that a dispute has taken place between Turkey and Persia, in consequence of the Pasha of Bagdad having condemned to death a Persian dervish for sacrilege, for forming new sect by preaching for an apocryphal Koran.
